Nope. He has AJs. Well, I raised instead of shoving in the hope of getting shoved over, so I got what I asked for, and...
*** FLOP *** [9d As 4d]
Every. Fucking. Time. It's insane. I am not kidding. QQ is a premium hand and I am losing with it.
And again, the other guy's play is simply terrible. He must fold his hand. He is guaranteed to be behind me. Yes, he got lucky this time. Please do not comment that, because yes, I can see that he did. But his hand is a big dog against mine.
It is really sucking now. I don't feel I'm playing badly at all. Clearly, I didn't play this hand badly.
Next tourney, I shove over a minraise with AK. He has 88. I hit the A on the flop. River 8. I mean, wtf?

You didn't play it at all, you let it play you instead; can you discern a difference between those two views?
The facts, the maths, those play you; your emotion, your will, those play the game.
It is not a matter of failing to respond appropriately to the cards you are dealt. Those are history. It is not about history, it is about future. More precisely, the front edge of the future, the sharp edge.

You can't have it both ways. A lean mean poker machine that works the maths without an emotional flicker will not sweat the short-term nits.
Dude, it doesn't matter who played whom. My play is super sound and I got my money in way way ahead. Unless you have some method of discerning that an ace will come, there's nothing else you can do but get your money in good and hope that fate will be kind to you one time.
You realise why a player like me gets worked up about it, boots? Because I'm a 7/3 favourite, and I want my seven times. I rely on it because that's how I play.
Dude, don't talk to me any more about poker. It's not helping to make out it's stupid to play the odds when that is the best method anyone has come up with and you have no other method to beat it.

It isn't about discerning when it will come. Discerning when it will come is passive. It's about something a bit more active than that.
"Because I'm a 7/3 favourite,"
That's impressive, I suppose. Even though the underdog gets better odds on the bet.

Done, bookmark to be erased immediately after this is posted. Ciao, baybee.
Oh, one last suggestion... don't play poker with FL.
I know you'll read this, deleted bookmark or not, you're too vain not to. Look, the thing is, it's no good constantly telling me not to play the odds. That's the whole game of poker, right there. I don't know any other way to play. If you have a method for knowing whether the other guy will flop his ace, share it. Otherwise, all you're doing is saying to stop making the clearly correct plays out of fear that I will lose. But I'm gambling! I have to lose sometimes. Again, if you have a method to prevent losing, I'm all ears.
