It looks like a lot when you write it out but at the time it's more like "that's full of shit, I call".

I agree that his bet looks like nothing much, but the problem with checkraising there is that when he calls, which he will probably more than you'd like, because we had the betting lead and ducked it, which doesn't imply that we have a strong hand but is a line that strongly suggests the hand we have, and even the fish realise that, we are in a difficult spot because we're pretty much committed with A high. I don't count the play out but I play tighter than that in an STT. In an MTT I think it would be more viable.Dr Zenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14447633362204112316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1866185991684866107.post-60377355101015016372009-01-10T20:02:00.000+10:002009-01-10T20:02:00.000+10:00lol, how do you have time to think that much about...lol, how do you have time to think that much about your hands?
I think I might have check-raised the flop. His small bet smells like a blocking/probe bet and the chances of taking the pot on the flop are good.

MarkAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
